ElementShot Privacy Policy

Overview
ElementShot does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit personal data.
How ElementShot Works
ElementShot runs only after you click the extension icon. It injects a temporary element picker into the active tab, reads the selected element rectangle, and uses Chrome DevTools Protocol Page.captureScreenshot to create an image of that selected area.
Screenshot Data
Screenshot data is saved locally through Chrome's downloads API. Screenshot data is not sent to any server or external service.
Settings
ElementShot stores settings such as filename template and image type using Chrome storage. These settings are used only by the extension.
Permissions
ElementShot uses the debugger permission only to call Chrome DevTools Protocol Page.captureScreenshot for the selected element. It uses activeTab and scripting to run the element picker after a user click, downloads to save the image, and storage to save extension settings.
No Tracking
ElementShot does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, remote code, or external APIs.
